Developer readies $70M Heinz Lofts for city dwellers
Friday, December 12, 2003 at 12:00PM When John Ferchill first saw the five empty H.J. Heinz Co. buildings on the North Side, the Cleveland-based developer had one thought: residential lofts.
"I've been all over -- Detroit, Milwaukee, Atlanta, Baltimore and Cleveland," Mr. Ferchill said. "They all have lofts. The only place that doesn't is Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. That's why I think this will work."
