The Don Allen Auto City property in Pittsburgh's Shadyside neighborhood will be redeveloped into a $230 million, mixed-use complex covering three city blocks that will include a boutique retail shopping center, and space for an office and medical facilities.
The Baum Boulevard-Liberty Avenue site will also contain upscale townhouses and condominiums, and a hotel, said Phil Hugh, a principal of the developer, DOC-Economou, a joint venture located in Marshall.
