Green Tree council gives early OK for condo complex behind mall

For some time now, Green Tree Manager Dave Montz has spoken to borough residents about their wants and needs -- and a condominium or townhouse development is chief among them.

"I've heard that for years," Montz said.

Now, the borough is a step closer to getting one.

Council last week unanimously gave tentative approval to Southstar Development of Florida for a development with condos, townhouses, lofts and flats that would be located behind Parkway Center Mall.
