Millcraft Industries’ redevelopment of the former G.C. Murphy Co. building, a project that is a cornerstone redevelopment for the Fifth and Forbes business district in Downtown Pittsburgh has now fully leased all of its 46 loft apartments.
The company reports that the first residential tenant moved in to the development now called Market Square Place, last December and the tenant for the last remaining unit signed a lease Sunday, allowing the project to reach full occupancy in four months. Millcraft reports it has a waiting list of 30 people interested in the property, a mixed-use redevelopment that also includes the new 44,000 squarefoot PNC-YMCA branch that opened in April, as well as 27,000 square feet of retail space for which tenants have yet to be announced.
