Buying Here: Downtown

How would you like to live in one of Downtown's most photographed buildings?

The building at 947 Liberty Ave., better known as the one with the big statues out front, has appeared in newspapers, magazines, ads and countless tourists' pictures. Its one-bedroom, second-floor apartment is now available for $1,250 a month plus utilities through we do property management.

At 650 square feet, it's not the roomiest apartment Downtown. It has one bathroom, a stainless-steel and black IKEA kitchen and a 5-foot-high sleeping loft (tall tenants beware!), reached by a sliding library ladder. The floors are sealed and polished concrete and the walls are unpainted concrete block. But check out the view through the 15-foot-high front wall of glass. Tucked back into a row of shops and facing south, the apartment gets sun most of the day.
