While large new housing developments draw much of the attention Downtown -- among them Piatt Place, the Carlyle, Three PNC Plaza, 151 First Side and the Encore on 7th Street -- there's also a fair number of smaller projects adding to the mix.
An example is a plan by the Urban Evergreen Group to develop 10 to 12 units in two buildings: 333 Boulevard of Allies and 330 Third Ave.

Downtown living is starting to bulge out of its Golden Triangle.
Two of the newest members of the growing urban residential community are in neighborhoods not previously considered Downtown -- the Strip District and the South Side.
The Cork Factory apartment complex in the Strip recently opened its second stage, changing the look and pulse of a neighborhood once mostly a workplace. On the South Side, the St. Casimir Condos are being touted as close-yet-far from the workday hustle.
