This 21-story building was originally the Union National Bank building, designed by architecture firm MacClure & Spahr and constructed in 1906. It was converted into 61 condominium units with six different floor plan configurations ranging from 1,442 to 2,126 square feet of space. There are 14 one-bedroom units (The Grand floor plan), 46 two-bedroom units, and a penthouse suite. Of the two-bedroom units, there are seven duplex units with two-levels (Alex Townhouse floor plan) Units on floors 2 to 15 feature carpeted and tile floors, vessel sinks, stainless steel appliances. Phase II of the Carlyle will be the renovation of the adjoining Commonwealth Building which was designed by Frederick J. Osterling and originally completed in 1906.
