Neighborhood: Golden Triangle - Downtown 

The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust and TREK Development Group will convert the historic 12-story Century Building into 61 residential loft units available for rent. Originally designed in Beaux Arts classical architectural style by Rutan and Russell, the 78,000 square-foot building located in the Golden Triangle area was completed in 1907. The restaurant Grille on Seventh continue to reside on the first floor.

Floor plans will range from studio to two-bedroom lofts. Architects for the rennovation are Julie Eizenberg and Hank Koning of KoningEizenberg Architecture. Construction is expected to start in 2008.
