At the site of H.J. Heinz Company's headquarters, five buildings built between 1912 and 1931 have been converted into loft apartment buildings, with 267 residential units. There are 67 unique floor plans, named after Heinz products, in the five buildings which retain their original names of Shipping, Meat, Bean, Cereal, and Reservoir. Enclosed bridges connect all five buildings.
Residences range from 573 to 2,020 square feet of living space in one to three bedroom configurations. Units feature exposed brick, beams, columns, up 16-foot high ceilings, and tall windows.
The project, located on the North Side, was completed in the middle of 2005.
